Northwest Association Annual Meeting

“Reconnecting and Looking Ahead”

We invite all our NW churches pastors, lay delegates, youth, retired clergy, and visitors to the Annual Meeting as we gather as the NW Association of the Wisconsin Conference of the United Church of Christ. Everyone is welcome! The NWA Annual Meeting is a time to reconnect with colleagues and friends, and to participate in the life of the wider-church. We need your presence and input!

Rev. Stephanie Perdew, the Director of the Damascus Project, will be our keynote speaker. There will also be worship in which the Chancel Choir of First Congregational Eau Claire will sing, updates from the Catalyst Grants Team, updates from UCCI and Moon Beach Camp, a delicious lunch, and a time for discussion around the Association Restructuring conversations happening in the NWA and the wider Conference. The business meeting will include voting on candidates for various Association Divisions and committees and the Association budget, and we will welcome the United Church of Christ of Hancock into the NWA.

Here are some reminders:

• All NWA Authorized Ministers (ordained, licensed, and commissioned ministers) may vote in the business meeting.
• Each NWA local church has one lay delegate that may vote and an additional lay delegate for every 200 members.
• Your church can bring as many people as want to come to the meeting regardless of whether they are voting delegates!

Time: Saturday, April 20, 10 am – 2 pm

Program Theme: “Reconnecting and Looking Ahead”

Format: The meeting is being offered as a hybrid; participants may join in person or via Zoom.

For in-person participants, a lunch will be prepared and served by First Congregational UCC Eau Claire.

Registration Fee: $15.00 for all in-person participants except for confirmation students, who may attend for free. There is no charge for those attending via Zoom, although we will still need a reservation.
