Why give? Support Wisconsin Conference UCC

Together We Are Stronger

These are exciting times in the Wisconsin Conference United Church of Christ!  Our passion for inclusion and our advocacy for those relegated to the margins are more important than ever before.  We may be small but we are mighty!  We partner daily with the Holy Spirit to transform lives in pursuit of a Just World for All.

Together we are stronger, our reach is wider, and our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is deeper.

Your gift to our Annual Fall Appeal will support these vital Conference-wide programs and services:

  • A new Legacy Program developed by our Conference Board and Staff designed to assist local churches in cultivating bequest and legacy gifts over time, ensuring the future viability of your congregation. Rev. Andrew Warner is leading the implementation of this initiative, as well as providing a breadth of resources for local congregations’ stewardship efforts.
  • A ministerial training track called the Damascus Project, launched last year in partnership with the Minnesota Conference, for those who feel called to Authorized Ministry but cannot attend seminary.
  • Seed Grants offered by the Conference Catalyst Team in support of emerging justice and community-based ministries (check out various local church initiatives at wcucc.org/catalystgrant).
  • A dedicated Conference Staff that faithfully guides pastoral transitions, offers care and counsel to clergy, and provides a myriad of resources and programming opportunities for congregations.
  • Trained Conflict Resolution teams that help congregations navigate through challenges, offering the promise of a healthier future, and Clergy Coaches that effectively promote pastoral growth.

Your generous gift to the Wisconsin Conference will enable us to continue supporting our congregations and clergy, so that the message of the United Church of Christ can continue to be relevant and transformational.

We invite you to give as you are able.  Wherever you are on life’s stewarding journey, we value your investment in our shared ministry.

With grateful hearts . . . in Christ,

Rev. Franz Rigert, Conference Minister
Rev.  Jim Hollister, Board Chair
