Wisconsin Health and Human Service Ministries (WCHHSM)

Wisconsin Council for Health and Human Service Ministries

The Wisconsin Conference has had long standing relationships with numerous human service agencies through our Wisconsin Council of Health and Human Service Ministries (WCHHSM). By supporting and advocating for these agencies, we live out our mission of service to Jesus Christ by helping others lead healthy, dignified lives.

The Wisconsin Conference supports these agencies through our United Conference Appeal. You can further support these ministries through planned giving, memorials, individual contributions, volunteering your time and your prayers.

Health and Human Service Sunday is January 31, 2021

Health and Human Services Sunday is a special opportunity to create awareness of the health concerns of our communities and world, and to learn about the many and various health and human service ministries of the United Church of Christ. It is observed annually in the United Church of Christ and is an opportunity to talk about health in a holistic way, address the issues of justice in our health care systems and learn about how each of us can become involved.

Resource materials to celebrate Health and Human Services Sunday in your congregation will be available Dec 15, 2020, on the CHHSM website CHHSM.org.
