The Division on Ministry in the Local Church provides scholarships for people to attend spiritually-enriching events including, but not limited to, year-round church camps, retreats, clergy and lay leadership development (separate from Lay Academy). Financial support is also available for church growth and church renewal.
The Wisconsin Conference has two amazing camping locations – Moon Beach in St. Germaine and Pilgrim Center in Ripon. Check out their year round camping opportunities at www.ucci.org.
The Northwest Association offers scholarships for every event held at our camps.
The Division supports attendance at Regional and National Youth events, http://www.ucc.org/youth.
In an effort to encourage churches to invest in Faith Practices, an all church Faith Formation Curriculum offered online at ucc.org, the Division is offering scholarships of $100 per church.
These scholarships are available for both clergy and lay leadership development workshop events. The United Church of Christ and the Wisconsin Conference offer many day- to week-long workshop opportunities in church administration, faith formation, stewardship, church growth and renewal, and other topics.
Scholarship vary depending on the cost and length of the workshop.
Youth ages 6th grade through high school are invited to Faith Formation retreats held at Moon Beach and Pilgrim Center. EAch weekend will feature faith growth opportunities, great music leadership, creation of life-long friendships, campfires, amazing food and our amazing UCC camp locations.
Scholarship information will be available when events are scheduled.
PASTORS, YOUTH LEADERS & CONGREGATIONS SHOULD WATCH THEIR EMAIL FOR THE UPCOMING EVENTS
In addition to our very successful Youth Retreats, the Division partners with Wisconsin Conference resource teams, including the Conference Youth Ministry Team and Partners in Education. Check the Wisconsin Conference, United Church of Christ website for more information.
