“Heavenly Meetings: Processes to Foster Healthy Engagement” is a short course that will help church leaders encourage people to contribute more during church meetings. During two live meetings on Zoom, participants will experience three simple and highly adaptable structured activities that encourage groups to know one another, share opinions, review progress and make decisions in a healthy and inclusive way. In the weeks between the zoom meetings, participants will interact on the Damascus Project Network, where they will learn how to lead the structured activities (both online and in person), explore how to use them in church settings, and receive personal support for trying these structures in their own meetings.
Pricing: 1 participant/$10; 2 participants/$15; 3 participants/$20; 4+ participants/$25. Groups must be from the same church.
Registrants have access to:
1) Two 60-minute online workshops on August 26th and September 23rd at 5:30 p.m. (CST). These sessions will be recorded but participants are encouraged to attend live for the most benefit.
2) A dedicated online space or “Cohort” in the Damascus Project Network for answering questions celebrating successes, and sharing tips and resources. The cohort will also include weekly posts that will support people in their learning and help them lead the structured activities effectively in their setting.
