Changing Lives Mission Grants are AVAILABLE
The Mission Team of the Southeast Association Wisconsin Conference is offering grants of up to $250 for programs or projects related to the work of justice and/or community building. This could include programs or projects connected to a congregation’s local community or any of the justice issues as outlined on the Wisconsin Conference website under the Justice Ministries tab. This grant may be for current or startup programs or projects.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and are reviewed at our bi-monthly committee meetings. Congregations may apply for more than one grant. Past grant recipients may apply again this year.
For more information or to download the application see the Changing Lives Grant Application or click here for the online application.
Grantees are expected to submit an article to the “SEA Currents,” the SE Association’s online newsletter, describing each program for which they receive a grant. You can submit an article to the newsletter by emailing Rev. Mary Jane Huber at sewaucc@gmail.com.
The Mission Team also seeks to communicate information about Mission Outreach projects as well as projects, workshops, and events throughout the Association, Conference, and Denomination. Whenever possible, we want to connect churches and congregants with similar interests so that they can share information and work together toward a common goal.
