March 12, 2021
God makes grace abound, more than enough, so you may do every good deed abundantly –2 Corinthians 9:8.
This letter is the official call of the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Wisconsin Conference of the United Church of Christ. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible in spite of COVID-19, the meeting will be held virtually, with the theme Powered by Generosity.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 11, 12 and 13, 2021, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, you are invited to join in presentations each evening, with the timely topics: Blessed and Called to be Generous, Abundance in a Time of Uncertainty, and Practical Ways to Share Generosity. Our Keynote speaker, Rev. William Lamar, our conference staff, and your choice of interactive workshops promise to make these three engaging evenings.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, we will gather virtually from 9:00 am -11:00 am for worship, brief presentations, and our business meeting, including adopting a budget and electing nominees to various positions. On Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 9:00 am our worship service will be livestreamed, and made available to local churches so we can worship together…virtually.
Watch for more information and register so you can join me for our Wisconsin Conference 2021 Annual Meeting in mid-May.
