Faith Formation Gatherings:
Faith
Formation Gatherings will be held on Sunday following breakfast.
To help us better plan, we ask that you choose the one you are most
likely to attend and indicate your choice on the back of your registration form.
This is not a reservation. Disarming
Debates - Could
this work in your neighborhood? Controversial
issues are a fact of life, threatening to divide us from the very people about
whom we care and with whom we share faith and fellowship. Can
healthy discussions lead us deeper into faith and life instead of splitting us
apart? Skilled mediators introduce a new resource which calls us to the table to
listen, explore and utilize faith to discern what God might be calling us to
consider. Exploring

Silk paintings. Banners. The
Arts Committee will help us explore easy and inexpensive ways to enhance our
worship experience from week to week, season to season with integrity and
interest. NOOMA
- Gather
with the Conference Youth Ministry Team to view and discuss one of the hottest
new resources in faith formation, the NOOMA video series narrated by Rob Bell
founding pastor of Peacemaking
Circles - Experience
how this process of sharing and listening creates a trusting space in which
circle members value and respect each other as equals.
Hear stories of how it is used in schools, as a restorative alternative
to suspension of children for minor offenses; in churches, to create community
in urban neighborhoods, to deal with problems; and in the criminal justice
system. Facilitator Rev. Roger
Brooks is a volunteer in the Community Conferencing Program that is run by the
office of the Milwaukee County District Attorney. Wellness
