The journey of Christian discernment can be as joyful and fulfilling as it is frustrating and confusing. How do we know what God intends for our lives? How do we hear God’s voice among the many voices speaking? What does it mean to be “called”? What does the UCC mean by “ministry of all” and “ministry of some”? What does this mean for me? What’s next for my walk of faith?

If any of these questions sound familiar, you are not alone.  At such an important time as this, you need a supportive community and meaningful answers which are faithful to the ministry of Jesus Christ, build Christ’s church and support your journey of faith.  This is why we invite you to join us for a day of exploration and discussion with Dr. Martha Baumer.

Dr. Baumer, former professor at Eden Theological Seminary, pastor from the Wisconsin Conference, previous Conference Minister in Illinois and life-long, committed Christian has worked with many people in discerning what their particular call to ministry might sound like and where to seek help in unfolding God’s intention for their lives.

Cost for this event is $50, which includes lunch.
