About Rev. Jeanny House
The Northwest Association of the UCC has
called the Rev. Jeanny Vorys House to the position of Association Minister. Jeanny
grew up in Eau Claire. She attended Kalamazoo College in Michigan, majoring in
English with a minor in French. After living and studying in France, Jeanny
graduated and worked a variety of jobs including managing a political party headquarters
in an election year, working with recently-released prisoners and starting a community
theater group in Eau Claire.
Jeanny earned a Master's degree from UW-Eau Claire and taught there
before starting seminary at United Theological Seminary in the Twin Cities. She was
ordained to ministry in the United Church of Christ and has served churches in Michigan,
Wisconsin, coming to us from Rock Springs, Wyoming. Jeanny has served the wider
church on the Mission and Stewardship Committee, Search Committee for the Rocky Mountain
Conference and on Church and Ministry. Her hobbies include computers, the Internet,
fountain pen collecting and reading all kinds of fiction, especially mysteries!
